Tyne's internal quality assurance procedures and manuals, accredited under ISO 9001:2015, are tailored to meet the demands of a comprehensive work scope covering design, procurement, manufacturing, and operation. They have successfully undergone audits by COG (via CANPAC) to CSA N299.1 standards, as well as by AECL to the same level.
To further enhance their certification, TSSA has granted Tyne the authority to design, build, and maintain pressure vessels and piping systems in accordance with ASME VIII Div 1 and B31.3 standards. This certification covers both off-site work and activities conducted within their own facilities.
Given Tyne's frequent involvement in Research & Development endeavors, they have expanded their QA manual to encompass R&D activities. This enables them to fabricate or develop new components or subcomponents as required.
According to Tyne's quality assurance protocols, each project is assigned a unique number and commences with the formulation of a Project Plan. This plan references and incorporates various other plans as necessary, including the Design Plan, Manufacturing Plan, QA Plan, and R&D Plan, ensuring that each project is managed appropriately within the framework of their QA program.
